Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 24/03/2016

A small, daylight-lit and shelter-like cave in laterite, facing south-west, up to 5 m wide, 1 or 1.2 m high and 2 m horizontally deep (big enough to shelter a smugly packed small family) with a level floor (modified by man?) of small rocks and a low, lateral niche (upon entering on the right-hand side, covering about one square metre, up to 0.4 m high: the children's room?). SITUATION: Estimated 50 m in a direct line approximately west of the first (big, dark) –>Verna Bhuiyar but about 8 m (or so) higher up. CULTURAL HISTORY - Human use: A worn-out aluminium laddel and a metal bowl in a state beyond repair indicated on 25th January 2007 that the little cavelet has been used as a troglodyte dwelling only recently.

Histoire

EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2007.01.25: Thomas Matthalm and H. D. Gebauer, assisted by a motorbike-taxi driver and one Francis (scooter-taxi driver), both engaged at the Verna bus stop, instructed by a locally appearing security guard (or so) in a spotless uniform with generous applications in red and gold on immaculate Kaki cloth, scrambled across the hill-side and found the entrance the cavelet to be not exactly »very big.« Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 24/03/2016
