Description
The entrance faces north-east. The cave is 50 m long, 7 to 40 m wide and 11 m high. The front part of the cave is much disturbed by guano miners and pothunters. Archaeologists have shown that the cave was occupied for three phases from 27,000 to 2,500 years BP. The cave is 1 km from the nearest underground water source and 4 km from the Khwae Noi river. Several other caves were found in the surrounding hills during 1989 and 1990.
