Tham Phu Talor - KK0037
16.727951,101.848128
Location
From the village of Ban Phu Pha Man, heading towards Tham Khang Khao which is signposted with blue tourist information signs. Instead of taking the sharp north (right) turn towards the large limestone massif with Tham Khang Khao continue straight on (west) through Ban Na Fai to a T-junction. Turn right and go through Ban Wang Sawap, continuing to follow the road until the tarmac ends. There is a wooden sign near the entrance and a car parking area.
Description
Some steps and a dilapidated hand rail descend to the small entrance. The cave soon opens up and descends steeply to a large, flat floored passage that is, unfortunately, not very long. At the end of this section the passage splits. To the left it is possible to ascend the slope to end at a large boulder choke where you can turn back to the right and descend the boulders to rejoin the main passage. A couple of small side passages have been explored, but did not extend far. The boulder choke at the end of the cave may repay a closer look.
