Description
Sort of a modified natural or man-made well (pit, pool) on the flanks of Tiruvannamalai / Arunachal. LE SAUX, H (1978, 1980: 46): From Grotte de –>Vannatti 50 m downhill, there is a relatively large and very deep well (or pit, pool), which is a rare treasure envied at Tiruvannamalai, that was found and excavated / cleared / cleaned by devotees. Close by the well (pit, pool) the gardener Kardivel and his wife lives in a hut. Kardivel gave a most warmhearted receipt for this new venue (note 1).
NOTE 1: »Cinquante mètres plus bas se trouvait un grand puits, très profond, qu'aivaient fait creuser ses dévouts ; une richesse rare et enviée en Tiruvannamalai . Près du puits, une chaumière où vivait Kadirvel, le gardien avec sa femme. Kardivel reçut les nouveau venu très chaleuresement« (LE SAUX, H 1978, 1980: 46).
