A -cave- of dubious nature (is it a pothole cave? a gravitational chasm?), which is reputed to be at least 50 feet or 60 feet (about 15 m or 20 m) long. SITUATION: On the banks of Doyang (Diyang) River. APPROACH: To reach the site, one has to take an absolute left-hand turn (towards east) some 4 km or 5 km south of Tsemenyu or Tseminyu (note 1) for the villages Awohumi and Kichiliani. Here, a guide can be taken. CULTURAL HISTORY - Human use (sacrifice / criminal body disposal): In 1956 Phukhuhe Sumi (Asst. G.B.), the father of Civil Engineer (Power) Shrie Hikhezo and mediator between insurgents and the Indian Government, was thrown into this cave, hog-tied with bound hands and ankles. His body is said to have never been recovered.A -cave- of dubious nature (is it a pothole cave? a gravitational chasm?), which is reputed to be at least 50 feet or 60 feet (about 15 m or 20 m) long.
