Description
An estimated 30 m long cave without recognised name (note 1) understood CHAMBERS (2001b: 29) to consist of a low crawl that pens into a chamber full of porcupine quills with another small passage leading off that closes down to nothing. SITUATION (BROOKS 2001b: 28): At an unspecified distance approximately south-west of Quetta and somewhere near a place called something along the lines of Kanak (note 2) or so, which appears to lie at the foot of Koh-i Surkho (a Pierced Hill that might be worth a less hurried inspection) and about 15 km or so along the road south-west of –>Lak Pass () towards Nushki (29°33'N: 66°01'E). CAVE LIFE: Since CHAMBERS (2001b: 29) noticed a chamber full of porcupine quills the occasional presence of porcupine (Hystrix var.) seems to be likely. An estimated 30 m long cave without recognised name (note 1) understood CHAMBERS (2001b: 29) to consist of a low crawl that pens into a chamber full of porcupine quills with another small passage leading off that closes down to nothing.
