A north-west-facing (Arbenz, T. undated 2010 cave plan: Porcupineplan.pdf) and an estimated 1 m wide (SW-NE) and 2 m long (NW-SE), rift-like cave entrance (note 1) represents the forth known cave entrance to the lower Krem Lymoh and gives, from a passing personal point of view, not only the impression of representing an inlet from the surface (daylight) (Arbenz, T 2011.04.10 Mss: Krem Lymmoh-Porcupine_Rec.doc) but also is suspected to fuction as an occsinal sink (note 2). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for this cave entrance (Arbenz, T. undated 2010 cave plan: Porcupineplan.pdf; Arbenz, T. et al. 2011.03.27 undated Mss: 2011 Diary.doc: Sunday 20th Feb 2011) of the Krem Lymmoh (Audsley, A U 2010.02.17 Mss: Krem Lymmoh) or Krem Lymmoh / Porcupine Cave (Arbenz, T 2011.04.10 Mss: Krem Lymmoh-Porcupine_Rec.doc) and Porcupine Cave (aka Krem Lymmoh) (Arbenz, T et al. 2011.03.27 undated Mss: 2011 Diary.doc: Sunday 20th Feb 2011). SITUATION: I the vicinity of a spot that lies about 5 km in a direct line approximately south-east from the village of Kseh (St. Joseph church near WGS84 N25°25'24.0”: E092°35'32.9”: 880 m asl) and about 5 km in a direct line approximately south-east from the village of Kseh (St. Joseph church near WGS84 N25°25'24.0”: E092°35'32.9”: 880 m asl), the cave entrance to the Lymoh Inlet Cave lies at an unidentified location with an unspecified GPS position (note 3) and in an unidentified setting above the Lymoh gorge (N25°24'48”: E092°36'23” WGS84), a tributary, seasonal watercourse from the south-west to the orographically left bank of the Kopili River (26°15'N: 92°10'E). APPROACH: Get yourself to the cave entrance of the lower Krem Lymoh (N25°24'38.9”: E092°36'17.0” WGS84), scramble down across boulders to the floor of the daylight-lit entrance doline, turn north-east and walk downstream till, short of a mud choke, the beginning of a way to the daylight-lit epigean zone is near. CVE DESCRIPTION 2011: Having travelled from the most convenient cave entrance to the lower Krem Lymmoh (Audsley, A U 2010.02.17 Mss: Krem Lymmoh) or Krem Lymmoh / Porcupine Cave (Arbenz, T 2011.04.10 Mss: Krem Lymmoh-Porcupine_Rec.doc) for some distance north-east (downstream), it is not impossible to encounter an inlet from the surface (daylight) short of what had been in February 2011 the spot where passing cave penetrators encountered a mud-choked continuation which caused the cave visitation's end (Arbenz, T 2011.04.10 Mss: Krem Lymmoh-Porcupine_Rec.doc). EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2011.02.20: Thomas Arbenz, Peter Ludwig and David Cooke … continued the survey of Porcupine Cave (aka Krem Lymmoh) from stn.1/8 where it was left in February 2010 … This eventually led to an aven and to daylight (Arbenz, T. et al. 2011.03.27 undated Mss: 2011 Diary.doc: Sunday 20th Feb 2011).
