MUSTOH CAVE (Jarratt 2002)

An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a kind of cave with bats. SETTING: On private agriculture land, the cave is surrounded by the forest of Castonopsis indica, and Schima wallichi (ADHIKARI, H 2011: 15). SITUATION: Unidentified. Apparently above the banks of the Nisti Khola (Central Service Map sheet 47 Palpa, 1989 edition) or Burba Nadi (AMS sheet NG44-04 Tansing, U502 series, 1958 edition), a tributary to the orographically right (locally south) bank of the Kali Gandaki (Kaligandaki River). POSITION: Sahalkot V.D.C., N 27°48’57.5”: E 083°58’10.7”, elevation 1101 m (ADHIKARI, H 2011: 15). CAVE LIFE - bats (Chiroptera): Specimens of Rhinolophus affinis (NaReCon 31.03.2009.05) were prepared from this cave.
