Meherbaba Caves

Probably more than one Internet website (note 1) associates unspecified caves (the plural is probably honorific) of dubious nature and character (perhaps a temple cave) with one Meherbaba (note 2) and counts it (or them) among the places, which tourists are expected to visit when at Panchgani (town at N17°55': E073°49'). SALUNKE (2003: Panchgani Town Map), however, does not mark or mention any Meherbaba Caves as such. This item is possibly identical with one of the other caves at Panjgani, e.g the –>Den Dine Restaurant Cave, the –>Plinth and Tobacco Cave or the man-made –>Rajpuri Caves 7 km from Panchgani.
