A noteworthy sinkhole (no name mentioned), which possibly gives access to a cave, is indicated on the Survey of India sheet 78-O/12 (edition 1912). It is shown to take a stream, which rises on hill slopes south of the height 3359 (1024 m asl, near ±250 m 25°14'43”N: 91°34'21”), then flows along a winding route generally south, and finally disappears near (±250 m) 25°13'51”N: 91°34'14”E. SITUATION: From where the village of Lawbah (±250 m 25°14'00”N: 91°33'55”E WGS84 modified from Everest 1830) is indicated on the Survey of India sheet 78-O/12 (edition 1912), where the sink is shown to lie at a linear distance of about 600 m (or so) approximately ESE (-280 m north and 530 m east) and about 200 m in a direct line north of the path (in February 2010 a road) leading to Nongtrai (upper village: ±250 m 25°12'38”n: 91°36'37”E; lower village: ±250 m 25°12'52”N: 91°37'09”E).
