Description
A cave surveyed to a length of 102 m at a vertical range of 23.5 m (Brooks 2006.10.27 Mss: Survey Summary 2006.xls) was not only explored and surveyed to yield 102 m of passage (Brooks 2006.10.27 Mss: Cave Exploration in Pak#43C.doc) but also represents, at 2'470 m altitude, the highest known cave in Balochistan to date (Brooks, S J 2006.10.27 Mss: Cave Exploration in Pak#43C.doc). SITUATION: Somewhere on the on the summit of the impressive Siygazi Ghar / Siygazi Mountain (see… Siazgi Ghara), which forms a flat (ish) plateau / ridge some 3.5 km long, between 100 m to 900 m wide, and flanked on all side by vertical limestone cliffs up to 250 m high.
