About 20 or 30 vertical metres above the main cave (–>Edakkal Cave 1) and on the right-hand side of the steep trail to the viewpoint above the caves, lies an 6 m long rift cave, sufficiently illuminated a daylight window, which deteriorates into a 3 m long belly crawl.
