Baskara Narayan) or a lingam, a bright orange painted Ganesha above, a Nandi bull opposite, and modern »mosaic tiling of appalling vulgarity« (WARD 1988). SITUATION: Somehow »next« (R. Baskara Narayan) or »near« (WARD 1988: 262) the Survya Mandir (sun temple) of Prabhas Pata (LONELY PLANTET, India 2005: 668, 669-670) or Prabhas Patan (R.
