Description
Above 150 Metre [perhaps 150 feet] with running water and with five small Channels & Bat's (Hayat Ullah / Hayatullah Durrani Khan 1997.06.16 Mss). ETYMOLOGY: The cave and spring (note 1) was initially reported as Cave of Takkathoo (Takathoo Mountain range) Near Quetta. Bostan (Hayat Ullah / Hayatullah Durrani Khan 1997.06.16 Mss) but two months later as Chashma Achozai Cave (Hayat 1997.08.16 Mss). SITUATION: Initially near Quetta. Bostan [note 2] (Hayat 1997 June) and later, associated with the word Achozai (note 3), literally quoted: 15 K-M [note 4] in North from Quetta, Lookated at Thakkathoo Mountain Range (Hayat 1997 August). APPROACH: A (partly motorable?) track is shown on AMS sheet NH42-05 to run from the village of Akhunzada / Akhunzda south-west along the Dara Manda, a seasonal stream, which arrives from a bowl shaped basin (near N30°16': E067°04': 6500 or 7500 feet / 1900 to 2300 m asl, AMS sheet NH42-05) in the huge gap between Mount Takatu proper (N30°23'35”: E067°6'34” WGS84) and Mount Zera Jarga, adjacent south-west (N30°20'50”: E067°02' WGS84).
