The first of three unspecified caves or rock shelters (Brooks 1995 Mss no. 35, 36, 37). SITUATION: Somewhere in the hillside near the village of Butkanda / Buthkanda (note 1), possibly in the Kolonne (Kolonna) korale. CULTURAL HISTORY - archaeology: Excavation yielded stone tools made from chert and quartz (DERANIYAGALA 1980: 177).The first of three unspecified caves or rock shelters (Brooks 1995 Mss no. 35, 36, 37).
