An unfinished, man-made Early Period- Hindu cave temple (rock temple; a rock-cut chamber used for religious purposes), which is excavated from decomposed and brittle laterite, reports CAVES IN GOA (2002, item 2) from Lamgao (note 1), which lies 2 km from the town centre of Bicholim (Cassabe de Bicholim N15°36': E073°57').
