Location
Turn off the H107 to the east at 47Q 505600 2157063 and follow the small road for about 1.5 km to the valley of the Mae Poi. The cave is about 400 m to the north on the western side of the valley, is very difficult to find and the use of a GPS is required.
Description
This cave is a swallet conisisting of a wide chamber that descends steeply down a pretty waterfall of gours. A drop of 5 m can be climbed down lands in a rather low gallery (1 m) and 3 m wide, but which was not explored by the SSAPO in July 2008 because of the risk of flooding due to a heavy storm and also a high CO2 content which left the original explorers with a bad headache for several hours. Fauna is abundant in the gours including translucent shrimp, fish and green crabs.
