Description
The suspicious place name Ambu-phuk meaning Ambu Cave mentions PRANAVANANDA (1949: 48) in a chapter on Thermal Springs (hot springs): Near the caves [i.e. –>Chu Phug, Tage Chu] and a mile down [approximately west along the stream Tage Chu, a tributary from the south-east to lake Manasarovar] at Ambu-phuk there are some more hot springs.
