A … natural cavern, known as Paradesi pudai is said to contain a mysterious inscription as yet undeciphered (BASKARAN 2001) or, perhaps, scriptkarren resulting from dissolution of a limestone surface (note 1). SITUATION: Somewhere in the vicinity of the Thenaruvi falls, which were reached by walking from Kuttralam / Kuttalam (note 2) … along Puckle's path, named after the district collector [note 3] who laid it in the 1860s, to Thenaruvi and beyond.
