An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an unidentified cave called »Kynda Cave or Ka Krem Pubon Kynda« which both BAZELY, P J (1992, 2: 73) and LALOO, S S (1995a: 4, 1995b: 4) count as the 10th of their eleven »Syndai Caves.«ETYMOLOGY: The meaning and origin of the cave name »Krem Kynda« remains in the dark (note 1). SITUATION: Unknown. At an unidentified location and in an unspecified setting somewhere in the vicinity of the village of Syndai (±1 km N25°10': E092°08'30”: circa (±200 m) 500 m asl WGS84) or, if you prefer, simply »Located at Syndai village« (BAZELY, P J 1992, 2: 73; LALOO, S S 1995a: 4, 1995b: 4).

NOTE 1: "ka kynda" (Khasi / Assamese loan word, number / noun), synonymous with ”ka sáw” (SINGH, N 1906: 184), »the 4; four« (SINGH, N 1906: 53); »a rhinoceros« (SINGH, N 1906: 53); binomial imitative: ”ka nar ka kynda” (SINGH, N 1906: 53), »a form of corporal punishment in the old Khasi penal code« (SINGH, N 1906: 53).
