Local people answered inquiries for caves with indicating certain »Markapur Guhalu« or "Markapur Caves" (GEBAUER & ABELE 1983d: 52), which were said to consist of natural tunnels large enough to have a railway line running through. These "Markapur Caves" are two man-made railway tunnels of 1 km and 1.4 km in length. SITUATION: At the railway station Markapur Road (N15°43': E079°18') north-west of the village of Markapur (N15°44': E079°17').
