A cave (note 1) surveyed to a length of 87 m at a vertical range of plus or minus 7 m (Brooks 2006.10.27 Mss: Survey Summary 2006.xls) consists of an impressive cave entrance and a good sized chamber, which was understood to yield somewhat larger accumulated totals of lengthwise measured distances. SITUATION 1: According to leading Chiltan Adventurers and officials of the Pakistan Cave Reaserch Association lies this cave somewhere at, on, or near a certain Phatan Coat Mountain [Muhammad Ali Mandokhail 2003.01 Mss] or Pathan koat Village, Loralai District [Hayatullah -Hayat- Durrani Khan 2003.05.18 Mss] which appears to correspond to the village of Pathan Kot or Pathan Kote (note 2). SITUATION 2: According to Simon J. Brooks, of all people in charge of training the Chiltan Adventurers in the art of Cave Surveying and Recording (Brooks, S J 2006.10.27 Cave Exploration in Pak#43C.doc), the Pathan Coat Ghara (Cave), AKA Shipana Ghara (Shepherds Cave) … nearer to Loralia itself than the si caves called –>Draggi Ghara which themselves in a curious Draggi Valley that lies at an unspecified distance in an unspecified direction from Loralai. CAVE DESCRIPTION 1 (Muhammad Ali Mandokhail 2003.01 Mss): 45 m long, Phatan Coat Mountain. CAVE DESCRIPTION 2 (Hayatullah -Hayat- Durrani Khan 2003.05.18 Mss): Pathan koat Village, Loralai District, Shpana Cave, Long 16 m, H: 4 m, W: 7 m, Entrance: 6¥10 feet. EXPLORATION HISTORY: CAAB [Chiltan Adventurer's Association, Balochistan] & PCRA [Pakistan Cave Research Association] Officials and Members has also detected & Initial explored the under mentioned some caves with effect from 1st November 2000 to 10th February 2003 in the different limestone areas of Balochistan, Pakistan [Hayat Ullah /Hayatullah Durrani Khan 2003.05.18]. 2005.04.23 - 2005.05.05: Simon J. Brooks and Hayatullah 'Hayat' Durrani Khan et al. (note 3) surveyed one Pathan Coat Ghara (Cave), AKA Shipana Ghara / Shepherds Cave (Brooks, S.J. 2006.10.27 Mss: Cave Exploration in Pak#43C.doc) or a meterage of 87 m at a vertical range of 7.3 m in one Pathan Coat Ghara at 1526 m asl (Brooks (2006.10.27 Mss: Survey Summary 2006.xls).
