General description
Histoire
1925 discovered by the quarry worker Georgios Pavlidis. 1960 exploration and first survey by Anna Petrocheilou. 1977 development of the cave started, supervised by Anna Petrocheilou. 1983 development completed. 1986 opened to the public. 1988 examined by Czech physicians for use in speleotherapy. 1994 new survey by Vassilios Makridis. 2012 natural history museum in the upper floor of the nearby coffee shop opened to the public.
