A tall rectangular entrance, full of bat guano, at the base of an 8 m wide and 15 m deep doline. No tackle was used but a handline would be wise if visited again (Groves 2002.02.07 Mss -Krem Soh Shympi / Rumdan Entrance 2- dated 7/2/02). SITUATION: Groves (2002.02.07 Mss) commands to Follow a miners' track (note 1) down hill to the entrance of a coal mine (note 2), follow this path westwards to a clearing (note 3) which overlooks the cliff dropping into the doline (note 4) where the entrance resides. Entrance to the cave is gained through boulders on east side of doline. CAVE CONTENTS: Needles to point out that any relevant observation is simply A touch above my poor soul (Groves 2002.02.07 Mss). CULTURAL HISTORY: Several coal mines exist in the vicinity of the entrance. CAVE LIFE: More or less many fruit bats [Chiroptera] roost near to [either in front of or, perhaps, just inside] the entrance. Numerous cave spiders, millipedes and a couple of scorpions were observed in the vicinit of the entrance. And a cave cricket. (Groves 2002.02.07 Mss). of the entrance. And a cave cricket.
