So-called old caves … having the images of Siv [Shiva] in different poses are said to have been excavated (by nature or by man?) from unspecified, apparently anonymous nearby hills (no name mentioned) somewhere in the vicinity of a place called Tarna (note 1), which is a small village in Umred tahsil about 9.656 km. (6 miles) south-east of Umred [note 2]. The village is located on the bank of a stream known as Hedu nulla.
