Kallil, near Perumbavur, has a rock-cut cave in which we can still see the images of [the Jain saints] Parswantha, Mahavira, and Padmavati; the local Hindus worship Bhagavati in this temple today (jainsamaj.org/literature/jainism301004.htm accessed 2004.01.02).
