Unidentified souterraines voisins de Katmandu (BROSSET 1961: 428) or undergrounds near Kathmandu, which may represent a natural cave or man-made cellars (note 1), are inhabited by bats (Chiroptera: Rhinolophus affinis, R. pearsoni) which are said to have been seen hibernating in the first days of a month of April in an unidentified year: A la latitude du Népal, les Rhinolophides, tels que Rhinolophus affinis et pearsoni, hibernent comme en Europe.
