Description
Three caves of unknown dimensions are developed in what appears to represent relics of a Quaternary terrace consisting of conglomerates (consolidated fluvial deposits) that form a small island in the Hunza river at Pasu / Passu (note 1). EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1990.07.15 - 08.03: Simon J. Brooks, assisted by seven members of the OCC (Orpheus Caving Club, Derbyshire, UK) commenced spotting the entrance. 1993.07: Simon J. Brooks, Jennifer 'Jenni' or 'Jenny' A. Brooks, Helen Harper, Rob Harper and Christopher Smart continued spotting the entrance.
