Description
An unspecified cave or rock shelter (temple cave) at Rudraprayag is not only dedicated to Rudranath (the face of Shiva) but also associated with the Hindu saint Narada. SITUATION: At the confluence of the rivers Mandakini and Alaknanda, where the great sage Narada meditated to get deep knowledge of music and its divine connection. This is a very good place for meditation. The quietude, which one can achieve here is amazing. The cave is located in a gorge and next to the confluence. Nearby is a monastery, where monks live and meditate (mosaicindia.com/abode-of-god/caves.html accessed 22.12.2004).
