What looks like a sink (insurgence), which drains a seasonal stream underground, is indicated on the Survey of India sheet 57-I/03 (edition 1983) next to Boulders (possibly a closed depression) at a location that can be expected to fall on the catchment area of the perennial karst spring rising at the –>Yaganti temple. SITUATION: About 1.5 km in a direct line south-west of the village of Katikavanikunia (note 1) and at about halfway on a line following a 2 km long gap (obviously retracing a NW-SE trending fault) on the Yaganti plateau and heading towards the temple of –>Yaganti at the karst spring (exsurgence) and suspected resurgence (note 2).
