Description
About 15 m east of the first Krem –>Phud Jasim, the second cave on the Jasim stream is one of the most frequently not-surveyed caves of Meghalaya. CAVE DESCRIPTION: The south-east facing cave entrance is obstructed by a few fallen boulders but a short and easy squeeze gives access to walking-sized cave passage with a shallow, probably perennial stream flowing in a bed of coarse sand. CAVE POTENTIAL: Surveying might yield a cave similar and parallel to the first Phudjasim cave. It might even bypass the so-called »terminal collapse« of the first Krem Phudjasim and gain the pair of headwaters feeding the pair neighbouring caves.

EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1992.11: Christopher M.. Smart, Boycott, Antony 'Tony', Rob Harper and Helen Harper noticed the cave entrance and commnced staying outside. 1994.02: Christopher M.. Smart, Boycott, Antony 'Tony', Rob Harper and Helen Harper continued staying outside. 1999.03.14: Brian D. Kharpran Daly, H. D. Gebauer, Valery Lalvula, Ronald 'Ron' Laitduh and Edward "Teddy" Laitduh had a look at the first 100 m or so without being aware of the cave's completely unmapped »survey to 4c« state (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 32).
