Location
Mutanda zone, Buzi district, Sofala province. GPS (WGS84) S 19°55’25.3" / E 34°0731, 1’’. ca. 120 m asl. Surveyed on 2 Sept. 1999 by Artur Fernandes and Jens Römer (BCRA-Grade 2a). Length: 23,00 m. Vertical range: -14.80 m. The cave is situated about 50 m NW from Pequena Xonondo No.1.
Description
The cave is a downward bulging pit with a depth of 15 m (SRT required). The entrance measures i x 2 m. The chamber on the bottom of the pit measures 7 x 7 m. The bottom is covered by rocks. No bats were seen. Also no traces of fillings with conglomerate were found.
