Description
A major sinkhole is shown on the Survey of India sheet 78-O/04 (edition 1912) at a situation about 2 km as the crow flies north-west of Bagali (Bagli) and north-east of peak 1008 (307.2 m asl). Judging from the map, this sink appears to drain a closed depression (adjacent to the south-western corner of –>Nongumbar Depression) covering an area of about 0.8 square kilometres (0.8 km from east to west, 1 km from north to south).
