Description
The most important man-made 'cave temple' (rock-cut chamber used for religious purposes) in the vicinity of –>Amba town (also: Ambajogai, Ambe, Ambejogai, Mominabad) is situated on the bank of Jivanti river and consists of a small pavillon in the middle of a courtyard, and a great hall (27.5 by 14 m) supported by four rows of pillars (IMPERIAL GAZETTEER 1907-1909, 5: 275).
