An estimated 10 m wide and high cave entrance leads to a mainly horizontal cave, which contains stal (speleothems), a small pool, and about two sumps. SITUATION: According to Harper (2008.02.18 Mss: Janta Dobhakol.pdf), a local guide [is] essential to explain the whereabouts of Janta Dobhakol as it was understood to lie somewhere on ridge to North West of one of the nine distinct Nengkhong villages (note 1) in the vicinity of confluence (N25°18'13”: E090°36'52” WGS84) of the Chibe River and the Rongdik. According to the recorded GPS position (note 2), however, the Dobhakol at Nengkhong Jantagiri lies 1.2 km in a direct line due east of Nengkhong Sholadugiri or 2.4 km north from Nengkhong Rangmatma (with weekly market on Fridays), and about 96 m south-west from –>AA Cave (Harper 2008) no. 21 (N25°19'31.9”: E090°36'19.5”: 160 m asl). CAVE DESCRIPTION: Wide entrance, 2.5 by 10 m, leads to a steeply descending boulder slope. After 50 m, a boulder and stal blockage can be passedvia a small climb and crawl into a continuation of the slope, which ends at a small pool after estimated 48 m. From here, 50 m of 2.5 by 5 m wide passage ends at [leads to] a fork. Left [sic!] enters after 15 m a chamber with a passage heading to the right [sic!]. Right [sic!] joins the passage leading from the chamber above and from here, 3 m of walking passage reaches a T-junction. To the right [sic!], the passage quickly chokes in boulders.
