No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for a man-made rock chamber, which was used in 1959-1960 as a hostel shared by a mixed population of bats and saddhus. IDENTITY: This grotte artificielle creusée dans une colline (BROSSET 1961: 425) --a man-made rock chamber excated from a hill with unidentified name-- is possibly identical with one of the five –>Fergusson College caves (KOSAMBI, passim) in the hill behind the cricket field on the land covered by the Fergusson College. SITUATION: At an unspecified location somewhere dans une colline voisine de Poona (BROSSET 1961: 425) --on a hill near Pune (N18°32': E073°52').
