Man-made rock chambers (compare: Caves in the –>Jaghuri Basin) excavated from sandstone and used -in Buddhist times- for religious purposes reported VERARDI (1977: 16. Tôp-e Âhangarân) from somewhere near a place called Shola (perhaps: Syahbume Shughla, Siah Bum-e Shoghleh, Syahbume Sughla N33°20'26”: E067°39'27” (WGS84, nima.mil/geonames accessed 28.05.2004).
