What possibly is a natural bridge or arch (karst surface feature) or a an inclined tunnel cave (karst feature) in the –>Gibbon Doline has been -classified- or obliterated not only as karst tunnel (Arbenz, T 2009.02.09 Mss) and archway (Arbenz, T 2009.03.15 Mss) but also as rock arch (Penney 2009.02.09 Mss) and -a partly roofed canyon- or teilweise überdachter Canyon (Arbenz, T 2009.03.29 Mss). TUNNEL DESCRIPTION: A short, impressive karst tunnel (Arbenz, T 2009.02.09 Mss: Krem Baiongkhleh). ARCHWAY DESCRIPTION: A 20 m long archway leading down to the second level of the doline. … To the South, a canyon leads into a downsloping archway of about 20 m length (Arbenz, T 2009.03.15 Mss: Tngaw Doline). ROCK ARCH DESCRIPTION: Rude drill ground speak commands Head down open area of grass and go into jungle. GPS position [note 1] is here: Climb down steeply into canyon. To right [note 2] is Tngaw 1. Go left [note 3] and climb down [deleted: through tunnel] under distinctive rock arch into dolie. Tngaw 2 is immediately on right corner [note 4] of 20 m high rock wall (Penney 2009.02.09 Mss: Tngaw 2 / Ape 2).CANYON DESCRIPTION 4: According to Arbenz, T (2009.03.29 Mss: Re: Bakteria, Tngaw & Wah Sapoh) the Gibbon doline is peculiar insofar as it features a unique combination of characteristics including a -partly roofed canyon- (note 5) which appears to be one more contortion of the above mentioned karst tunnel or downsloping archway.e.
