Description
An artificial cave constructed from polyester synthetics, reinforced with fibreglass and coated with sand. The ground plan, following laws commanded by feng shui superstitions, resembles the letter -Z.- The tunnel cave has two cave entrances (one equipped with a pair of wooden doors), is on average a spacious metre wide, about 5 m long and up to 3 m high, and functions as a gateway or entry to the central exposition area in the Maryade Purushattam, a pompous assemblage of saffronized air-port art for a pious proletariat (note 1) in honour of protagonists from the Sanskrit epic Ramayana (circa 200 BC to 200 CE, ascribed to Valmiki or, in Hindi, Balmiki), including an acrylate painting –about 2.5 m wide, 1.5 m high– showing the recently -abducted- (kidnapped) Ahilya meditating in a house-wifish -cave- (completely lined with stone) while a delegation of mercifull VIP heroes pay tribute to her. SITUATION: The pious cum patriotic amusement park Maryade Purushattam lies west of Chitrakoot (ote 2) and on the right-hand side (north) of the road to Banda and is easily recogniseable from the road by a giant statue of the monkey-faced god Hanuman, who, as if he were a Christian's Saint Mary, tears his heart open to show his sweetheart, which, of course, does not embed Jesus but the Hindu's super-houswife Sita looking straight into the eyes of every onlooker.ote 2) and on the right-hand side (north) of the road to Banda and is easily recogniseable from the road by a giant statue of the monkey-faced god Hanuman, who, as if he were a Christian's Saint Mary, tears his heart open to show his sweetheart, which, of course, does not embed Jesus but the Hindu's super-houswife Sita looking straight into the eyes of every onlooker.
