SITUATION: Somewhere on the top of a scarp that lies about »1.5 miles« (2.5 km) north-west of the Manikpur Railway Station (note 1).
NOTE 1: Manikpur 25°04': 81°07'E, a railway station, nowadays in Chitrakoot district, is shown on AMS sheet NG44-11 Allahabad (U502 series, 1961 edition) and in the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 39 F5) on the Central Railway at a distance of 29 km along the road south-east from Karwi (25°12'N: 80°54'E).
