Description
Major N.N. Thomas (note 1) noted an unspecified cave (item no. V) without recognised nature, character or dimension, which is formed in an unspecified rock (note 2) and situated »on the south side of the Kalapani Nala between Chhugan [note 3] and Parjot [note 4]. Sheet 43 I [note 5].« The Kalapani Nala (Kalapani Gah, Kalapani Nar) of Major Thomas appears to be a tributary to the river Astor, which itself is a tributary (note 6) to Indus River. WADIA (1937) studied in the Astor - Deosai area the Cretaceous volcanic series and its intrusions.
