Description

General description

Michael Laumanns - 28/11/2015

The cave has two large daylight openings. The bigger one has a depth of 7 m, the smaller one is climbable with a depth of 2 m. The main collapse doline has the dimensions of 7 x 12 m and 3 trees are growing on its ground. The smaller northern doline measures only 3 x 3 m and is connected to the main doline by a short but well proportioned passage. In the W part of the main doline a cleft leads about 3 m down and meets a horizontal passage running in N-S direction. Its W wall has some calcite formations. In the NE part of the main doline an even conduit leads in E direction into a small chamber of 5 x 7 m and a height of 6-7 m. The chamber ends in small rifts, From the N end of the smaller doline another further minor extension ends after 4 m. Except spiders and cave-crickets no further animals were discovered. Also no traces of fillings with conglomerate were found. An air temperature of 19,8°C was measured.
