Description
(Central Morocco, Safi, Chemaïa) Co-ordinates: X190,1 Y181,35 (map 1:50,000 Chemaîa). Alt. 405 m. Formed in Upper Jurassic limestone. Drains an underground stream in wet weather conditions. The complex cave has a lot of boulder chokes two levels and ends at a sump. Explored in 1948 and 1951 to a length exceeding 2,000 m by the Société Spéléologique du Maroc (SSM 1953, map).
