Description
Two or three 3 m deep potholes (insurgences) drain the water of a stream flowing across the daylight-lit surface of Lakadong Sandstone (Middle Sylhet Stage) into the upstream branch of the Krem Laitshyngiar formed in a relatively thin, interstratal band of Upper Palaeocene (Thanetian) Lakadong Limestone (Lower Sylhet Stage). SITUATION: At a walking distance of an estimated 500 m east from the village of Langkyrdem (±200 m N25°21'03”: E091°53'42”: 1550 m asl WGS84) and at a linear distance of 80 m approximately SSW from the cave entrance to Krem Laitshyngiar.
