Something like a narrow rock cave (Man Rescued 2013.03.17). SITUATION: Somewhere on a certain Ranvahi hill (Ranvahi Dongar / Dongri / Pahar) in a so-called Bhanupratapur district (Man Rescued 2013.03.17) or, perhaps, in the vicinity of the town of Bhanupratappur (note 1) in Kanker district, Chhattisgarh state. CULTURAL HISTORY - disaster management (note 2): After continuous efforts of the administration, a man who had fallen into a narrow rock cave at Bhanupratapur district on March 13, was rescued safely on Saturday. The incident took place at Ranvahi hill where Ramprasad, while walking, had fallen into a narrow rock cave. Rescue teams from Kanker, Raipur, Jagdalpur, Bhilai, Dallirajhara, Korba and Cuttack reached the venue for the rescue operations. According to the mining experts, 65% of Ramprasad's body was stuck in the rocks and it had become impossible to pull him out. They said that if they had tried to pull him out, he would have sustained injuries. A team of National Disaser Management reached Kanker removed the largest rock, which had been a hurdle in the entire operation. Ramprasad's condition had deteriorated over the past two days and was put on liquid diet.
