Description
An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) was understood to give access to an unspecified cave which the team decided to survey (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday). ETYMOLOGY: Little doubt remains that the strange cave name Krem Um Chwa (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday) is a corruption (note 1) of a cave associated with an -um- or [stream of] water which is -shwa- or -shuwa- and antedecent, was before or abandoned by flowing flowing (note 2) -- unless it is associated with what looks like a beautiful dame but is an unpleasant pagan deity or witch (note 3). SITUATION: Unknown. Somewhere in the vicinity of what had been in February 2015 a Mooriap Police Outpost (with an unidentified GPS position) and on the one-hand side in an unspecified setting and at an unidentified location but on the ther hand at a spot with unidentified spatial relations to each and every known cave entrance in the vicinity of the Mooriap Police Outpost (note 4). CAVE DESCRIPTION: The third cave, Krem Um Chwa, was the one which the team decided to survey (Anonymous 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday). CAVE POTENTIAL: An unrecognised the guide (probably Daphyrnai Sariang from Umkyrpong or, perhaps, from Mooriap) claimed that it is connected to Mawpun 1, that it is in fact one cave with two entrances [note 2] (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday). An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) was understood to give access to an unspecified cave which the team decided to survey (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday). EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2015.02.07: Daphyrnai Sariang from Umkyrpong (or, perhaps, from Mooriap), then acting as a so-called local guide (caving instructor), walked Richa Jain, Peter Ludwig and Cdr. Vijay Chhikara from a camp, in which expedition cavers were kept in February 2015 outside of the populated place Umkyrpong (25°26'04”N: 92°34'48”E), to cave entrances in the vicinity of a certain Mooriap Police Outpost (unidentified GPS position). On this occasion, the outsiders noticed that The third cave, Krem Um Chwa, was the one which the team decided to survey. They completed a couple of survey legs before they left for dinner (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 7th February 2015 Saturday).
