LYMBIT, Mawshamok (Tyler 2001) (Krem)
25.229200,91.691700
Description
An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an estimated number of two small spaces of unspecified size, which Andrew -Andy- Peter Tyler (25.05.2001 Mss: Krem Turning Mawshamok) and Adora Thabah found between the boulders of this simple world. In this case, the boulders may be slidden (dislocated) sandstone boulders and the cave itself is possibly the same as the Krem –>Lymbit near Mawshamok visited by Kirsamer. SITUATION: Andy Tyler observed among the many hundred bends in the three roads meeting at Mawshamok village the existence of a turning to the left [sic!] towards Shella. After 1 km, the cave is 100 m to the right of Andy Tyler (25.05.2001 Mss: Krem Turning Mawshamok). The GPS position recorded for the entrance to Tyler's Bat Cave near Mawshamok indicates one of two (or more) possible locations (note 1), which lie not only about 300 m in a direct line apart from eah other but also either 596 m (WGS84 modified from Everest 1830) or 907 m (WGS84) in a direct line approximately east-southeast from Kirsamer's Krem –>Lymbit near Mawshamok. CAVE CLIMATE: Adora Thabah measured at an unspecified time on 6th January 2001 at an unspecified location an air temperature of 13.7°C and a relative humidity of 70% (Tyler 25.05.2001 Mss: Krem Turning Mawshamok). CAVE LIFE: Tyler (25.05.2001 Mss: Krem Turning Mawshamok) recorded unspecified microchiropteras (sic!) or bats (Chiroptera: conf. Microchiroptera).h other but also either 596 m (WGS84 modified from Everest 1830) or 907 m (WGS84) in a direct line approximately east-southeast from Kirsamer's Krem –>Lymbit near Mawshamok. EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2001.01.06: B S Sohkhlet and H K Majaw guided Adora Thabah and Andrew 'Andy' Peter Tyler to a bat dwelling site where Adora Thabah surveyed bats, measured one value of relative humidity and another single value relating to a temperature in the air (Tyler 2001.05.11 Mss).
