Description
This is an active stream cave a couple of kilometres long and it is possible to do a through trip. Quite a nice cave with varied features û decoration, big variety of bat species, spiders, leaches waving about on shawls and a big skylight about halfway through. The cave must have a couple of km of passage. There is no open entrance at the stream sink, but a small hole on the hillside a few metres away drops through breakdown to the stream passage, which is then basically followed through to the lower end. We did not try to follow the stream though to its rising as John said it was sumped, but near the lower end we climbed ~10-12m above the active stream and hunted around until we found a way out through dry passages and breakdown û the route John first used to enter the cave. I have no idea on the exact location of the skylight about halfway through the cave and canÆt see any sign of it on Google Earth.
