Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

A reputedly very long cave is said to exist already after pressing an unidentified inhabitant of this zone (no name mentioned) for more than an hour (note 1). SITUATION: At an unspecified location somewhere -near to the village- of Rapla (note 2), which lies on the massif (note 3) called Rapla Dhar (note 4) at the foot of the Api (note 5). CAVE DESCRIPTION: Thinking along the brain windings of DUCLUZAUX (1993d: 30), the vertical range of this cave can be concluded from country-side myths, according to which the cave is not only deep to such a degree that returning to the earth's surface will be very difficult but also contains a fabubulous tunnel, which passes underneath the riverbed of the Mahakali and eventually connects to the Indian side opposite across. Apart from these predicaments, the mountainous vicinity of this cave is, of course, densly packed with tigers and bears (note 6).A reputedly very long cave is said to exist already after pressing an unidentified inhabitant of this zone (no name mentioned) for more than an hour (note 1). Histoire

EXPLORATION HISTORY: Bruno Sucluzaux and Pascal Schenker were told on an unspecified day between 1992.10.16 and 1992.11.30 (DUCLUZAUX & SCHENKER 1992; LIPS 1992: 52) by an unacknowledged habitant de la zone (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 30) about an allegedly anonymous cave (no name mentioned) somewhere in the vicinity of Rapla (N29°57'15”: E080°42'25”).
