Um u Siar 2 (Krem)

The about 12 m wide second cave entrance to Krem –>Um U Siar is a closed depression (up to 10 m SW-NE by 20 m NW-SE wide) of unknown depth indicated as Entrance 1 in doline (near survey station 1/0) on the cave plan (Arbenz T 2011.08.12 UmUSlarplan.pdf). SITUATION: In the lower reaches of the cave (near survey station 1/0) and about 80 m in a direct line (cave survey) due south of the the first cave entrance (Krem –>Um U Siar 1) and near the survey station 1/0 (Arbenz T 2011.08.12 UmUSlarplan.pdf). CAVE DESCRIPTION 2011.02.19: Krem Um U Slar 2 … was a sink and a rift passage ending in [sic! qua: leading to] a sump 200 m downstream. There is an upstream crawl, which links to the crawl in the entrance of Krem Um U Slar 1 (anonymous Arbenz, T et al. 2011.03.27 undated Mss: 2011 Diary.doc: Saturday 19th Feb 2011). CAVE DESCRIPTION 2011.03.23: The entrance is 12 m wide, narrowing down to 2 m. About 5 m high [T-junction, intersection] into a rift [cave passage]. The rift continues downstrea, almost due south for 200 m with a [relatively] high oxbow (also a rift) ending in [sic! qua: leading to] a sump. A [relatively] long upstream crawl to the north leads to a junction. Both ways on lead to [three other cave] entrances -- one of which is Krem Um U Slar 1 (Arbenz, T 2011.03.27 Mss ”Imogen Furlong 2011.02.20” Krem Um U Slar 1 & 2, 19.2.2011).
